Finally, classes started!
During my internship here at Tri-County Baptist Church I have three goals in mind. First, to use this year away from school primarily to develop my relationship with my wife as we begin our marriage. Second, to immerse myself in full-time ministry to learn from other men as well as to learn what areas I am lacking in understanding and in character. Third, to continue studying in God's Word while taking some classes toward my M.Div.
After searching high and wide for the right classes to take, I am taking English Puritan Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary, taught by J.I. Packer, and Hebrew I from Briercrest Seminary. Both classes are phenomenal and I am enjoying learning both from the lives of men before me and from the original languages. These will transfer on to Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, MN in the fall of 2008.
