Last evening, I had the priviledge of beginning one of our Wednesday Bible electives at Tri-County Baptist Church entitled, "At the Altar of Sacrifice". It is a study of Leviticus 1-16, by which we will look into the Old Testament sacrifices and see how they are ultimately fulfilled in Christ. The nine-week series began with a focus on an Introduction to the OT Sacrificial System, why we need it, how do NT believers interpret it, and an overview of the tabernacle. We ran out of chairs in the room as over 40 people came. It was a blessing for me just to be able to share what I am learning.
I found the following video online, which is basically a summary of what we discussed last evening to set the stage for the sacrfices. I will be using the first half of the video to begin the next class. It was created by a group who is making a full-length video for the History channel. You can read more about it here.
