Yesterday, I spent the day down at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an associate pastor from Tri-County and took part in the Tuesday Chapel service. Mark Dever, senior pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington D.C., preached a message entitled "Resurrection." He shared how this 'vision' is an image for us to grasp how dead objects are brought to life in the final resurrection simply by the life-giving Word of God. No other forces act upon these dead bones. Though we have experienced a 'resurrection' while on earth in that being dead in sin we are now to alive in Christ, the resurrection that is to come is far greater.
